Cheyenne- Per state statute (W.S. 21-2-304(a)(iii)), the Wyoming Content and Performance Standards are revised every five (5) years and are approved by the State Board of Education. For 2011, the following content areas have been revised: Health, Language Arts, and Mathematics. The 2011 Revised Wyoming Content and Performance Standards for Language Arts and Mathematics include the Common Core State Standards. These revisions were approved by the State Board of Education on September 23, 2011.

Both the Chapter 31 Rules and the 2011 Revised Wyoming Content and Performance Standards for Health, Language Arts, and Mathematics will be posted on the WDE website at http://edu.wyoming.gov/Programs/standards/standards_review_request-for-public-comments.aspx, on December 12, 2011.
