Walt Wilcox is currently the Principal at Dean Morgan Middle School in Casper, Wyoming. He has been actively involved in transforming his school which has resulted in high enrollment, higher assessment scores, and making academic yearly progress. He has lived in Wyoming for 46 years. He has an ES in educational leadership, a MS in educational leadership from Chadron State, a BA in Education/special education from the University of Wyoming, and a BS in psychology from the University of Wyoming. He previously served on the Natrona County Iron Dolphins Swim Team Board, the Wyoming PTSB, the Natrona County Association of School Executives and is an alumni member of Leadership Wyoming. He was named the Wyoming Middle Level Principal of the Year and the a National Milken Educational Excellence Award winner. He and his wife Christine have three children: Austin (18), Andee (15) and Abigail (10). He enjoys outdoor sports, time with his family and home remodeling projects.
